The AGCO would like to remind all horse racing industry participants that access to restricted racetrack facilities such as the paddock, as well as racetrack stabling and training areas, is strictly limited to individuals with a current AGCO licence in good standing.
All licensees are required to present their AGCO licence (including the QR code associated with the licence) EVERY time they seek entry into a restricted area of the racetrack.
Licensees will also be asked to present a valid government issued photo ID alongside their AGCO licence. Failure to present a valid licence at the gate will result in a refusal to enter the restricted area. Entering the restricted area without a valid licence may result in a monetary penalty or suspension.
These requirements are outlined in AGCO rules:
- Chapter 3: Licences Standardbred Rules of Racing
- SB 3.07.01, 3.07.02, 3.07.03 - Chapter 4: Licensing, Thoroughbred Rules of Racing
- TB 4.01.08.1, 4.01.08.2, 4.01.08.3
