Under Ontario’s sport and event betting framework, all operators that provide sport and event betting offerings must have their own controls in place to monitor and report unusual and suspicious betting patterns. They must also engage independent integrity monitors (IIMs), who receive, assess, and distribute unusual/suspicious betting alerts in accordance with the Registrar’s Standards.
IIMs must be registered by the AGCO, have the expertise to analyze and evaluate the accuracy and severity of betting alerts that they receive and shall not have any perceived or real conflicts of interests in performing the IIM role, including such as acting as an operator or as an oddsmaker.
The IIMs listed below have been registered or have applied for registration in Ontario:
- The International Betting Integrity Association | IBIA (Registered)
Contact: Jason Foley-Train (Policy, Analytics and Communications Adviser): jft@ibia.bet - U.S Integrity (Registered)
Contact: Matthew Holt (President/Founder) mholt@usintegrity.com - Global Lottery Monitoring System (GLMS) (Registered)

Those using the above list are responsible for confirming for themselves that any of the listed entities are currently registered by the Registrar to perform the independent integrity monitor role.
