Overview
The Ontario government wants to be open and transparent. It has created a directive that says provincial agencies, like the AGCO, must post the data they create, collect and/or manage so the public can access it.
The AGCO lists all our data sets. We note whether a data set is:
- Currently open
- In the process of being opened
- Exempt from being released as open data for a number of reasons (legal, security, privacy, confidentiality or commercially sensitive)
For datasets that say they will be made open, some data elements may be removed if they fall under applicable exemptions.
Available data
We make a number of sources of data open to the public including:
- Find a licensed alcohol retailer
- Executive compensation framework for the public sector
- Travel, meal and hospitality expenses
- Current status of cannabis retail store applications
- A map of cannabis retail stores in Ontario
- A search in iAGCO of issued licences, permits, authorizations and registrations
- A searchable list through iAGCO of registered racehorses in Ontario (you must know the name of the horse)
- Official lists for horses and horseracing
The AGCO has also made some of its datasets open to the public in machine readable format. They can be accessed through the links below.
