To help licensees understand how the Government of Ontario’s new COVID-19 Response Framework affects them, the AGCO is highlighting relevant information on its website for ease of reference.
How we are helping you
The AGCO has created a new web page table that:
outlines the implications of the Government’s new COVID-19 Response Framework to AGCO-regulated sectors
includes a full list of classifications and specific rules for food and drink establishments, meetings and venues that host events with Special Occasion Permits, casinos, bingo halls and other gaming sites located in each public health unit region
will be updated in response to each new government announcement
The AGCO will not publish separate blog posts as regions move in and out of the different levels, but will update this table as new information is announced.
Furthermore, the AGCO will now be supporting the government in ensuring compliance with the Emergency Orders. Compliance Officials, designated as Provincial Offences Officers, will have the authority to lay charges for violations of Emergency Orders.
In addition to the provincial health measures, some municipalities and local medical officers of health have added their own regional restrictions or requirements. Licensees are reminded that they must also continue to follow any public health measures in place in their municipality.
