Once you have a racetrack operator licence, you need to renew and manage it. This page tells you how to do these things.

Stewards and Judges have the authority to add any horse's name to the Racing Officials List if they believe it's necessary. While a horse is on this list, it can't participate in races or be entered into them, according to the rules of Thoroughbred and Standardbred Racing.

The AGCO Rules of Thoroughbred Racing states that horses which have had their nerves blocked, essentially numbing certain nerves in their legs using alcohol, drugs, or other methods, must be added to a specific list.

As part of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario’s commitment to transparency and enhanced communication, the AGCO will release race reports after a day / evening of racing. 

If you give a horse Procaine, you have to tell the authorities in accordance with the rules of Thoroughbred Racing set by the AGCO. The horse will stay on this list for at least 21 days after the last time it was given this medication.

Ontario has a program to manage and control Exercise-Induced Pulmonary Hemorrhage (EIPH) in both Thoroughbred and Standardbred racing at certain racetracks. Horses can join this program under strict rules, and their participation is made public in race programs so that everyone knows.
