A Temporary Extension Endorsement allows licensed manufacturers with a retail store to sell their eligible liquor at a temporary extension of their retail store at farmers’ markets and industry promotional events for which a Special Occasion Permit (SOP) has been issued by the AGCO.
Municipalities can prohibit the sale of eligible liquor at any or all farmers’ markets and or industrial promotional events within their jurisdiction at any time by providing a written objection to the Registrar.
If a municipality informs the AGCO that it is objecting to the sale of eligible liquor at a specific farmers’ market or industrial promotional event, the AGCO will notify the manufacturer that it cannot sell at that market or event.
