Submitting Your Charitable Gaming Eligibility (CGE) Application in iAGCO
- Login to iAGCO. Click Start a New Application under New Applications.
- Select Charitable Gaming Lottery Licences in the next window and click Next.
Note:
- Certain charitable gaming licences are issued by municipal and First Nations licensing authorities while others are issued by the AGCO. See the Introduction: Charitable Gaming Eligibility Guide section above for more information.
- If your organization has a Group Identification Number, you will automatically be assigned or may need to apply for a Charitable Gaming Eligibility number.
- Choose Charitable Gaming Eligibility as the type of application. To be eligible, an organization must have charitable objects and purposes that fall within at least one of the four charitable classifications below:
- Relief of poverty
- Advancement of education
- Advancement of religion
- Other charitable purposes beneficial to the community, not falling under relief of poverty, advancement of education or advancement of religion.

Note: You will be required to upload documents with this application. Before you begin, be sure to have electronic copies of (PDF or other common file formats are accepted):
- Your organization’s constituting documents
- List of Board of Directors
- Budget (for the current year)
- Financial Statements (for the preceding year).
Click Next to proceed.
Note:
- This Charitable Gaming Eligibility application determines whether an organization is eligible for charitable lottery licensing with the AGCO.
- Hall Charity Associations, Fairs or Exhibitions, and Private or Public sector places of employment applying to conduct and manage lottery events on behalf of the United Way or Federated Health are not required to submit a Charitable Gaming Eligibility application.
- On the New Application – Charitable Gaming Eligibility – Lottery Licence page, ensure your personal contact information is correct and up-to-date. Then select the entity applying for this licence, permit, authorization and/or registration.
Note:
- Click Save Draft to save your application.
- Enter your new application and contact information details as needed. You may choose to use the same information as your main profile contact details, or provide specific cotact information for this application. Ensure to complete all fields marked with a red asterisk. Click Next to proceed.
Note:
- Click Save Draft and then select My Profile in the top right corner of your screen if you need to update your contact details.
- The list of possible Applicant Types the organization may be to apply for charitable gaming eligibility includes:
- Association
- First Nations
- Non-Profit
- Religious Organization
- Agricultural Society
- Community Group
- Corporation
Any support needed for the multiple addresses (mailing vs. business vs. physical) for this audience?
- Answer Yes or No to the questions on the following screen. Also provide additional details in text boxes, as required. Click Next.
- On the Documents to Attach screen, upload Required Documents as instructed. Click Upload File to attach files. Click Next to proceed.

- Other documents may be provided at any time during the application process. Documents may be submitted in image formats.
- Be sure to select the Document Type for each file once uploaded to accurately identify each document attached to your application. A green check mark box will appear beside each document type once selected.
- If there are any errors or missing information in any required fields, you will be instructed to fix each one on the Errors on Application page. Click Fix next to each error to correct or provide the required information.
If there are no remaining errors, you will see a Declaration. Carefully review the declaration and check the box to declare that all information provided in the application is true and correct.
- Congratulations! You’ve submitted your Charitable Gaming Eligibility application!
You will receive a confirmation email shortly with an attachment containing the information you entered in your application. An Application Summary will also be available for download within 15 minutes on the Main Menu under My Applications Under Review.
