Game Session Security

Relevant Standard(s): 10.33
Application: iGaming

Issue:

The AGCO has received a request to further clarify Standard 10.33.

Response:

Standard 10.33 of the Registrar’s Standards for Gaming is intended to ensure that appropriate controls are in place to address security risks in session management for iGaming resulting from the fact that the “client” part of the system (e.g. player’s computer, phone, etc.) that the player is using is not controlled by the iGaming system.

Relevant Standard Excerpt(s):

10.33 All game sessions shall be appropriately secured and checked for authenticity.
